BIO:

My journey in Roller Hockey ignited when I was just 7 years old, inspired by my older brother, Jack Thomas, who was already playing as a goalkeeper. By the time I turned 8, Jack had joined the ranks of Herne Bay United RHC, and it was the persuasive charm of the club's president, Ron Barker, that convinced me to take my first strides on the rink.

What began as a tentative start soon evolved into an all-consuming passion, prompting me to bid farewell to gymnastics and swimming, redirecting all my energy towards Roller Hockey. During my tenure with HBU, the sport opened doors to international adventures, leading me to proudly represent the club in roller hockey arenas in Germany, France, and Spain.

As age categories shifted, I found myself welcomed into the fold of RHC Invicta at the age of 13. Shortly thereafter, I was training alongside the first team players, and over 5 years, my commitment to the club remained strong. I willingly volunteered my time to coach and contribute in any way possible. With the guidance of my coaches, Arran Bowyer and Jack Thomas, my skills continued to flourish. I eventually earned my spot of becoming the No.1 goalkeeper for the SECRHA senior league and even ventured to Sheffield Wildcats RHC, where I competed in the National Premier League, National Cup qualifiers, and the Senior Female National Cup.

Beyond my exploits on the rink, I was elected to serve on the South Eastern Counties Roller Hockey Association committee, focusing on marketing. In this role, I took charge of social media content and advertising, striving to elevate the visibility of our beloved sport. My dedication didn't go unnoticed, as I was approached by the England Roller Hockey Marketing Director to contribute to graphic design and social media initiatives.

My aspirations reached new heights when I seized the opportunity to attend the England academy and train for the Senior Female squad. My sights were firmly set on selection for the WSE European Championship Senior Women, with the ultimate goal of proudly representing England on the world stage.

In this past season, I was given the opportunity to live and play in Portugal, with CH Carvalhos. Although this came with its challenges and obstacles, I was determined to see the season through, and because of this, I was scouted to join AE Fisíca as their first goalkeeper. As well as this, in December 2023, I represented my country in the European games, where due to our efforts, we managed to secure a position in group A of the WSE World Roller Games. I am extremely proud to represent England for the second time at the World Roller Games in Italy, in September 2024.
