In a highly anticipated final match, King's Lynn and Ely & Chesterton United battled it out for the Premier League title. It took nine minutes of intense play before the deadlock was broken, with Captain Josh Taylor confidently converting a penalty to give his team the lead. Shortly thereafter, Jamie Griffin stunned the crowd with a remarkable goal, skillfully chipping the ball up and volleying it into the net, making it 2-0 for King's Lynn.

ECU managed to pull one back just before halftime when Martin Walker found the back of the net. The halftime score stood at 2-1, keeping the game finely balanced.
